Exciting opportunity for a driven Sales Manager in UK with a passion for dogs and cats

ESSENTIAL FOODS is a leading luxury lifestyle brand specialising in meals, pâtés, and treats for dogs and cats. We are an entrepreneurial company with a deep dedication to animal welfare and a focus on delivering the best possible experience to our customers. We are looking for a Sales Manager to help expand our reach within the breeder and retail communities in the UK.

 

About the role

As our UK Sales Manager, you'll play a key role in building strong relationships with breeders and retailers, reporting directly to the UK Country Director. 

A primary focus of this role is working closely with breeders. It’s essential that you are familiar with the needs, routines, and values of responsible breeding – and ideally, you bring personal experience from the breeder community. This insight is vital for building trust and long-term partnerships.

Although our headquarters are in Copenhagen, this is a UK-based role, meaning you'll primarily work from home or a co-working space, with visits to Denmark approximately once a month.

In addition to meeting with partners across the country, you’ll also represent our brand at dog shows and trade fairs, building new relationships and strengthening existing ones.

We are looking for…

.. a sales-driven individual who is passionate about dogs and cats. But just as importantly:

You either have a background in dog breeding or a deep understanding of the breeder landscape. You know what matters to breeders, how they work, and what earns their loyalty and trust.

Ideally, you have industry experience, but more importantly, you are outgoing, organised, and committed to quality. You should be a skilled sales professional with experience building strong customer relationships, whether in retail or another field.
